Here you can download XML file with simple syntax highlighting definition for Kwrite/Kate editors and FreeMarker FTL language. The syntax highlighting is based on the standard HTML syntax with a few additions to recognize FTL comments, marks etc.
Just place this XML file into your Kwrite/Kate syntax directory like /usr/share/apps/katepart/syntax/ or ~/.kde/share/apps/kate/syntax/ and enjoy :-).
